Structure of the NHS
Breaking down the different parts that make up health and social care services in Scotland.
Aims of this session
- To better understand the landscape of health and social care organisations, who they are, how they interact.
- To identify where there are opportunities for the public to be involved in those services.
What we do
In this session we break down the main component parts of health and social care in Scotland.
This can be done in a variety of ways depending on the participants. For example, we can explore the structure through case study examples allowing individuals to follow a person’s journey through these services. Participants can share their own knowledge and experiences and really explore the areas of health and social care services that are of key interest to them, whilst still giving a general overview.
This session is deliberately visual to enable participants to make real what can often feel quite unknown or abstract.
