An important aspect to all improvement work within health and social care is to take what we learn from engagement and improvement activities and use this to make positive changes throughout the system. This can mean sharing research findings, reports, insights, and expertise in a way that makes sense to other disciplines and professions, such as:

  • Policy makers
  • Local authorities
  • Health boards, and
  • The public

Enacting change in services when there are considerable system pressures can seem like a daunting task.
