DTTO Personas
At Healthcare Improvement Scotland we have developed 5 representative personas who use the Drug Treatment and Testing Order (DTTO) service. The personas were created in order to synthesise data and findings from user research and were widely shared across the organisation in order to inform the improvement of the DTTO Service.
They were built base through triangulating both quantitative and qualitative data. We have analysed different data point such as Criminal Justice Work Stats 2021-22, analysed samples of random cases and directly spoken to service experts who engage with service users daily.
These personas include information about the person's:
- Background
- Experiences with services/treatment
- Substance Use, Mental & Physical Needs
- Criminal Behaviour
- Family & Community health
We have also added detail about their:
- Needs
- Challenges when interacting with services
- Considerations/Requirements when designing services for them
- Opportunities to improve the service for them
