Registration is now open for our November 2026 Design Community of Practice. Joining us is Sophie Taylor, Lilias Adair and Freya Abbot from the London Borough of Camden.

We were joined by Dr Daniel Hufton, Consultant Paediatrician from NHS Forth Valley and Alison Gillan, Alison White and Hilary Provan from Taybank Medical Centre for our August 2026 session. Both presentations were distinct but interconnected in their message.

In May 2026 we were joined by Dr. Dulmini Perera, a Systems Researcher working at the intersection of design, cybernetics, and critical humanities. And is currently an Associate Professor at the University of Limerick, Ireland. We ere also joined by Dr. Silvia Grimaldi Professor of Service Design and Transformation and Co-Leads the Service Futures Lab at London College of Communication, University of the Arts London.

In February 2026 we were joined by Helena MacDonald from NHS 24 and Andrew Quinn from Public Services Delivery Scotland (formally NHS National Services Scotland) as they presented on “Service Transformation”: A faithful adaptation of person-centred design in practice.

We were delighted to have Ashley Hose, Senior Improvement Advisor from Healthcare Improvement Scotland and Dr Jackie Stirling, Clinical Psychologist from NHS Dumfries and Galloway join us for the November 2025 DCOP.

We were delighted to host another opportunity for the Design Community of Practice to come together in-person on 12 March 2025. The day provided the chance for members to network, hear from speakers and pose questions to the panel.
